The service is designed to support registered Barnsley paediatric patients diagnosed with epilepsy or for those where epilepsy is strongly suspected.
We accept referrals from anyone, including self-referrals from young people or their parents/carers.
Once received, referrals are assessed by the specialist nurses prior to accepting the child/young person to our caseload, or signposting to a more appropriate service if necessary.
